Upholstry

Upholstry quality depends mainly on its frame makeup. Fabrics can be put on any frame but still can change the price. There are three main types of frames used in upholstry: presswood, solid wood, and hardwood.

We do not recommend presswood and would rather you look into our used section. This type of frame usually lasts between 6 - 18 months! Solid wood is basically plywood. The problem with solid wood is that the stress points buckle and can cause problems in the future.

Hardwood is the real deal. This is one of the various woods (such as oak) and almost all sofas made of this has a limited lifetime warranty. But wait! There is one more major type. Solid wood with hardwood stress points. This type has the "real" wood stress points (where you sit), but it has the non-stress parts made of plywood (such as arms). {yes, its cheaper!}
